A rare find in Randolph County Illinois. Formed in the seams between black shale and coal 300,000,000 years ago. These pyrite dollars do not appear to be fossils, but an aggregate of tiny pyrite crystals. brilliant shades of green. Wire wrapped in G.F makes this piece pop. Looks great with a long gold chain or as a choker.
