Uniquely displayed on a hand-painted frame; a lovely and interesting decoration for your home.
To bring out the colors and beauty of the antique postcards, I use a bright matching acrylic color. For the back support I use card stock paper and decorate the back with some pretty scrapping paper. The postcard is held in place by photo corner tabs, so it is easily removable in order to view the back of the card.

For completion of the frame, I add matte finishes and in some, I varnish and dab the frame for a more antique finish. Adding the ribbon is my last touch, I try to find something that will also complement the postcard - the focus of everything.

Iam not an antique connoisseur, I just appreciate the art. If you have any knowledge to contribute to this piece, I welcome your comments.
You will not find two of a kind ... I believe you will truly enjoy these beautiful items from our past.
